An important message for every speaker...

"I Want To Help You Be Ten Times More Successful As A Professional Public Speaker Than You Ever Dreamed Possible!"

Discover the strategies of  “million dollar public speakers” – men and women who’ve made more than $1,000,000 from their speaking – and how they got there!

Dear Speaker,

Somebody once said the key to being successful in anything is to look at what most people do and then do exactly the opposite.

That’s a pretty good explanation for why the top 1% of speakers get so many bookings, sell so many books, CD's, and DVD's, help so many people and become rich in the process, while the vast majority of speakers toil, struggle and never make the impact they could have made.

I’ve been a professional speaker for 18 years, and have been blessed enough to join the elite ranks of the top 5% of speakers who make $10,000.00 a speech or more.

Here's the payment for a speech I gave last month. Two tips on this. First, I require full payment 30 days before the event, and so should you. Second, there was an additional $4,186 in BOR (back of the room) product sales. You should never, ever, ever give a speech, paid or free, without offering BOR products.

I get $2,500.00 for a 60 minute teleseminar. You'll start out at $500.00,  which is nothing to sneeze at. (How many people can say they get $500.00 just to talk on the phone for an hour?). But I can show you how to get your fee up to this point.

I don't do teleseminars for other companies any more, because quite frankly, I don't enjoy them. If I'm going to speak, I want to hear the feedback from a live audience. But my company does produce teleseminars, because they're profitable and there's no marketing cost. Even though I'm not doing them as a speaker, they are a great way for you to get your name out there fast, if you know how to break into the teleseminar industry.

But the real money is in seminars, which is why I built my speaking career on them. They allow you to decide where, when and how often you want to speak. But more importantly, they bring in hundreds of potential buyers of BOR products. Every day is a challenge to see what your DPC (dollars per company) in BOR sales will be. You won't sell them all, not by a long shot. The most packages I've sold in one day was 54, and the highest price point was $2,000. This is called "platform selling", and is where people like Dan Kennedy, Zig Ziglar, Brian Tracy, and Tom Hopkins really clean up.

There's a speaker out there who teaches people how to make money speaking at colleges. He's a good guy and knows what he's talking about. Someone told me that he said you can make $3,000 doing this. No disrespect to him, but that's chump change. Here are some examples of what a seminar check should look like. These are not even close to the largest, these are the oldest copies I could find (we didn't start keeping copies of checks until Y2K). Keep in mind that the BOR income is NOT included in these amounts.

I've written six books, and am published by John Wiley & Sons of New York, the largest, oldest, and most prestigious business book publisher in the world (and the hardest to get signed with). They have translated my work into Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, Russian, Bulgarian, and Korean. (Click here to see).

My latest soared up one best seller list all the way to #1, surpassing sales of every other book in print (that's over 3,000,000).  To put that in perspective, less than 10% of the books written each year ever get published, less than 1% ever make any best seller list, and less than 1/1000th of 1% ever hit the #1 position on any best seller list.

This business has been good to me -- very good. It made me a millionaire, and changed my life. More importantly, it allowed me to change the lives of others...LOTS of others.

Up and coming speakers who want me to coach them often ask how much I make. I won't answer that question, and neither will anyone else in my position. But I will share this little tidbit with you.

It's a tax refund of $50,680.00. My CPA found an additional $100,000.00 deduction we missed when we filed the return for that year. Paying six figures in income taxes disgusts me. At the same time, less than 4% of Americans make a six figure income, and less than 1% make enough to pay six figures in taxes. I guess it's not the worst problem to have.

So why am I revealing such intimate details of my life to you? Because after doing over 150 speaking engagements per year for many years, I've cut my speaking back by about 75% now as I approach retirement (I'm 44 years old).

Before I hang up my spurs, I'd like to see some other speakers benefit from the millions of dollars of "stupid tax " I've paid (mistakes that cost me a bundle), and the smart things that took me years and years to learn.

Last year I hosted a meeting of the state chapter of NSA in my office (actually, in my warehouse), and began  advising speakers on how to promote themselves, increase their speaking fees, and transform their speaking skills into multi-million dollar information marketing empires.

I’ve also identified a special group of speakers I call “million dollar public speakers” --– people who’ve made over $1 million directly from their speaking.

I’m not talking about the kind of speakers who just happened to get lucky. I’m talking about speakers who took “the road less traveled” and have figured out how to be successful year-after-year. They think very differently than the other 99% of speakers.

I'm talking about speakers who have more power, prestige, influence, and money than most people can fathom.

Here's what I mean by power and influence. Recently I called good my friend and colleague Jim Ziegler, who is the #1 speaker to the automobile industry, just to chat. His receptionist told me he had someone in his office. When he called me back later that morning, I discovered it was the president of General Motors, who had flown down from Detroit in their private jet, called GM1, to consult with Jim.

Here's what I mean by prestige. My good friend and colleague Dr. Jim Sniechowski, who was also the best man at my wedding, has been on CNN, The O'Reilly Factor, 48 Hours, The View, and even the Holy Grail of TV and publicity - The Oprah Winfrey Show.

Here's what I mean by real money. My good friend, colleague, and Internet marketing genius Matt Bacak recently made over $100,000 from one speech, and he's only 30 years old.

I could go on and on, but the real question is, "How do you get to where we are?"

Here's the bad news. Anyone who's telling you that it's quick or easy is lying. There is no short cut to any place worth going. Success in this business requires lots of hard work and dedication, and there are no guarantees.

But here's the good news. If you can find someone who's been there, done that, and is willing to take you under his wing and coach you, you can get here a LOT faster.

Now before you go any further, I want to be up front by telling you that personal coaching is not for everyone. It is by application only, and it is not cheap.

I only accept students that will immediately implement what I teach them.

Why? Because the time I have is very limited. I can only teach a small group of ambitious individuals who are serious about becoming speaking professionals. I am very strict as to who I allow to participate, and will  not work with the following:

- Amateurs who "piddle" and are content to make $2,000 a speech here and there,

giving only a handful of presentations per year

- People who don't follow through on their commitments

- People who behave unprofessionally and are disrespectful

My business relies on my reputation, so I want to make sure that anyone who is fortunate enough to become one of my students will take what I teach them and put it to use.

Otherwise, I've wasted my time and you've wasted your money.

You see, my students learn not only from what I've done right, but also from what I've done wrong.

It is said that success is the result of good judgment, good judgment is the result of experience, and experience is often the result of bad judgment.

How true that is. I'll show you one "little" mistake that I made from 2000 to 2006 that cost me $1.2 million, and how you can avoid doing the same.

It's information like this that makes personal coaching with people who've "been there, done that" such a bargain - but only if you're going to do something with it.

What will you learn if you're accepted? Everything. Not just about the business of speaking, but how to turn your speaking skills into a multi-million dollar information marketing empire. For example, I'll show you how my online newsletter brings in six figures per year (Go to www.WorkIsNotForSissies.com for a free preview).

I'll show you how to create automatic, residual income every month by setting up your own continuity program (go to www.glennshepard.com/cp/4.htm for a preview).

I'll show you how to set up your website to brand yourself (go to www.GlennShepard.com for a preview).

I'll show you how to quickly create all kinds of information products (go to www.GlennShepard.com/store.htm for a preview).

I'll show you how to set up password protected websites to bring in even more (go to www.ManagementIsNotForSissies.com for a preview).

I'll show you how to create immediate income by hosting teleseminars (go to www.GlennShepardSeminars.com for a preview).

I'll show you how to set up a blog to actually make money, which very few do (go to www.GlennShepard.com/blog for a preview).

I'll show you how we recruit other teleseminar speakers (go to www.Teleseminar-Speakers.com

for a preview).

I'll also show you the hyper-aggressive, ultra-effective system I used to successfully land nearly 100% of the speaking engagement I've sought, and you can emulate my method to get all the speaking engagements you want.

Why would I do all this for free? Two reasons. One, because I'm approaching retirement. Otherwise, I would never reveal the secrets that have made me millions. (Keep reading for the second reason.)

If you honestly feel that you meet the following criteria, then and only then should you consider applying:

1.) You have something important to speak about. Something that will help people and can change their lives.

2.) You want to be a highly sought after, highly paid professional speaker more than just about anything you've ever wanted. It's more than a yearning; it's a burning desire that won't go away.

3.) You are not going to max your credit cards out and go into debt just to participate.

4.) You are willing to take what I teach you and WORK at using the knowledge.

That last point is very important.

As you may have already realized, my personal coaching program is very high-level training. Speakers are by definition big talkers, but few are big doers. Unless you are very serious about the speaking business, this is not for you.

Okay, so maybe you're wondering what kind of no risk guarantee comes with this kind of training before you can apply.

I'm sorry to disappoint you, but there are no guarantees.

Why? Because there are no guarantees of success. It’s completely up to you how hard you work at applying the principles I teach you.

If you don’t work extremely hard, you won’t succeed. If you do, you will. Your destiny lies in your hands.

Let's cut to the chase and talk about price. Here are the current rates for one-on-one coaching with me:

90 days       $10,000

6 months     $17,500

12 months   $30,000

If these figures sound high, then coaching may not be for you. That's because these figures are actually on the low side.

Bob Proctor charges $100,000 for his personal coaching program, and Tony Robbins charges $1,000,000 for his. And people are on waiting lists for both.

Why? Because while Bob and Tony know their stuff, their knowledge isn't what makes their coaching programs such a good investment. It's the results people get by using what they learn.

And that's why I'm so selective about who I accept. Results are all that matter.

If you've made it this far and you're still interested in participating (and you meet the necessary qualifications), enter your information below and an application will be sent to you.

My staff will conduct an initial review of your application as soon as it is submitted, and contact you within 5 business days to let you if your application will be forwarded to me.

If it is, I will review it personally, and then decide if you and I would be a good fit.

You are under no obligation, and need not send any money with your application.

If you are accepted, you will then receive the final details, and what you will need to do next to begin.

To Your Speaking Fortune,

P.S.  There are lots of people out there who will try to rook you out of your money. If you're wondering if I'm one of them, then good for you. You SHOULD question anyone who is asking for $10,000 or more of your money.  But I won't get a dime of it. Your check will be written directly to the charity of my choosing, which is presently the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.

P.P.S. What's the other reason I would do all this for free? Read "Why We Want You to Be Rich" by Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki, or "The Purpose Driven Life" by Rick Warren. I've spent more nights on the road than I can recall, and am approaching retirement from the speaking business. I'd like for some other talented, ambitious, hard working individuals to benefit from the millions of dollars and years of my life I've invested. This is not to benefit me, it's to help YOU.

P.P.P.S. So why charge at all if I'm not interested in getting your money? Because I ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT TOLERATE ANYONE WHO IS DISRESPECTFUL, especially when I'm trying to help them, and I'm offering to do it for free (You'd be amazed at how many people can screw up a free lunch). There are very few things that are more disrespectful to me than wasting my valuable time.

Speakers as a group are not the most motivated people in the world, which is why most remain broke. The stereotypical image of a motivational speaker is as bad as that of a used car salesman. This was vividly portrayed by the late Chris Farley on the Saturday Night Live skit where he played a sleazy motivational speaker who lived in a van down by the river.

I've found that when people have nothing invested in training, they do nothing with it, which means they have wasted my time. Requiring people to shell out cash weeds out the ones who aren't serious. If you  invest $10,000 or more and do nothing with what I teach you, it's not a waste of my time. A charity that my wife and I strongly believe in still benefits.
